Whenever I start a J.T. Geissinger book I know that I am going to be blown away by an amazing story, a hot Alpha male and the sassy, strong woman that will bring him to his knees. This is exactly what we received with Wicked Intentions. I FLOVED every minute of this book. It was fast-paced, filled with exhilarating action and SCORCHING sexy times. Ryan and Mariana had COMBUSTIBLE chemistry that would not quit. J.T. seriously broke the mold with Mariana and Ryan. They were amazing and I was left mind-blown and wanting more.

Wicked Intentions was the third book in the Wicked Games series. While it is a complete standalone I would recommend you read the prior two books in this series as there are recurring and familiar characters alongside Ryan and Mariana.

I absolutely FLOVED this book. I was lost in Ryan and Mariana's passionate love story and adventure to stay one step ahead of each other and their quest to capture the monster of Mari's nightmares. I loved their sexy story and how Mari kept Ryan on his toes the entire time. It was fantastic and I never wanted it to end. It was seriously J.T.'s best book and I know it will stay with me for a very long time. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

This is book 3 of the Wicked Games series. Each book can be read as a standalone but the cast of characters in the series grows from book to book so it’s best to begin with book 1 so that you know who important characters are when they show up in subsequent books.

We first meet oh-so-sexy Ryan in book 2 when he helps his brother-in-arms Connor. In this book Ryan meets Mariana, a capable and determined and sassy and smart thief who is indebted to the mafia and must steal at their command. She is his ideal dream woman so when she disappears after their first night together he chases her.

He’s a mercenary, she’s a thief and their lives are filled with lots of trouble. This makes for an exciting story though there might be a trigger for some because of a plot point regarding human trafficking. It’s not discussed for very long but it’s there so be forewarned.

Another good book from an author who has written so many books that I’ve loved. Automatic one click author for me.
If you're looking for a one-stop shop, this one has it all! Funny banter, plenty of steam and a nice little twist? A strong, sassy jewel thief of a heroine who is indebted to the mob and goes by the name of "Dragonfly"? A hot, possessive, protective, cocky, yet endearing and swoon worthy, ex Special Ops turned "security specialist" hero, who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it Check, check and oh you betcha! Mariana might have thought Ryan was a means to an end (as well as an unforgettable one night stand), but hey, a girl has to do what a girl has to do, right? From the minute Ryan woke up, realized not only was Mariana gone, but had roofied him, and a priceless ruby had been stolen from a Saudi Prince in the suite above..... well....let's just say, the chase was ON! Are you interested yet? Because, let me tell you, I was totally intrigued, invested and probably wore a goofy grin from the beginning because of Ryan. Just one-click-it. While this may be part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone.
This is another great read by author JT Geissinger. Loved the storyline and the insight she gives readers into the dark, evil, cruel and demonic world of human trafficking and the powerful Cosa Nostra. I loved Ryan and his selfless, loving, quirky personality. He’s a truly caring alpha male! The written bantering between Ryan and Mariana is off the charts.... so funny and quick witted!! As the story unfolds we learn of Mariana’s difficult life, to put it mildly! My heart went out to her for her plight and she is a very resilient woman. That being said, what made this a 4 star instead of 5 star read for me was the last 10-15% of the book. “Mariana, how could you put Ryan through what you did after all that you knew about him?” His love and concern for you deserved a very different response. HE WAS WILLING TO RISK HIS LIFE FOR YOU after all. I couldn’t forgive her for her selfish act despite the fact that the book ends with a HEA, as predicted. That is my only issue with the book. I simply adore the colorful secondary characters Darcy and Kai, Juanita and her pet rat Elvis, and Connor and Tabby. I do recommend reading this book and I hope Ms. Geissinger continues to gift us with amazing stories that always include what I call her “pearls of wIsdom.” As always, I consider her to be a very gifted writer!!!
